We invest in your success. Here’s a sampling of how we invest in equipment, facilities, programs and staff to help you do your best work:

Pharmacy: Our Robo Rx computer-driven dispensing system frees you from mundane, repetitive tasks, freeing up time to provide bedside education for Patients. Our ATP (Anticoagulation Transition Program) Clinic gives you the ability to independently manage medication therapy by authority of P&T-approved policies and procedures. And if you’re interested in a retail setting, we have six in the Greater Lansing area.

Stroke Center: Work side-by-side with one of the few neurointerventionalists in the nation in our state-of-the art catheterization laboratory featuring bi-plane angiography.

Cancer Center: Fewer than one hundred hospitals worldwide use the TomoTherapy HI-ART (R), and UM Health-Sparrow is one. This image-guided radiation therapy system offers real-time views, allowing precision direction of a highly accurate beam to destroy tumors.

Weight Management: A true multidisciplinary approach is the feature of this program, established in 1989. Both comprehensive weight loss programs and bariatric surgery are offered.

Rehabilitation: A full menu of rehabilitative services is available through our 24-bed inpatient program and at outpatient locations. We also offer specialized pediatric rehabilitation, including neonatal/infant care. In addition, UM Health-Sparrow Ionia offers rehab services.

Imaging: Every medical specialty depends on accurate diagnosis, and our investment in imaging technology reflects the importance of this field. Our modalities include CT, MRI, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, PET/CT, angiography, diagnostic X-ray, fluoroscopy, bone density and mammography.

Laboratory: More than four million tests are performed each year through our inpatient laboratory and 15 outpatient sites. Among the services we provide are forensic toxicology, drug testing and cytology.
